Roxane Fian

Advocacy and Communication Officer

Roxane Fian is a communications and advocacy professional passionate about development issues in Africa. She joined Speak Up Africa in 2020 as a production associate, where she developed strategic communications materials for several of the organization’s campaigns. Since 2021, Roxane has been in charge of implementing the sanitation program, which aims to promote strong political leadership for safe sanitation management in French-speaking West African countries.

With a degree in Information and Communication Sciences from the Higher Institute of Communications (ISCOM), a faculty of the Catholic University of West Africa in Abidjan (UCAO), Roxane excels in developing effective communication and advocacy strategies and campaigns. Her work on initiatives such as the Mud of Gold campaign and the CAPOOP platform have aimed to improve sanitation policies in Francophone West Africa.

A dedicated collaborator with diverse stakeholders, Roxane works closely with government officials, civil society organizations, and private sector actors to promote sustainable sanitation solutions. Roxane’s commitment to development in Africa and her communication expertise make her a valuable asset to Speak Up Africa’s mission.
