Seynabou Sy Ndiaye

Seynabou Sy Ndiaye is Gender Expert at Speak Up Africa, where she ensures that gender justice is not just a concept, but an institutionalized reality embedded in every program and project. 

With over 15 years of professional and activist experience dedicated to gender justice, climate justice, and social justice, she brings strong expertise in research, advocacy, social dynamics analysis, and the integration of inclusive approaches. She supports international organizations, public institutions, and community actors in the design, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that promote gender equality and sustainable development. 

A development specialist with a Master’s in Sociology from Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, Senegal, Seynabou has contributed to strategic initiatives across West Africa. Her intersectional, feminist, and decolonial approach helps shape policies and practices that promote a more equitable, resilient, and community-driven Africa.
