Ababacar Yague

Ababacar joined Speak Up Africa in October 2022 as Finance Manager and then as Finance and Administration Director and coordinates all aspects of his core business within the Association.
Before joining the Speak Up Africa team, Ababacar gained over 13 years’ experience working for NGOs and programmes in various sectors such as sustainable development, education and health, social development, environmental protection and even the microfinance sector. This background has made him an expert familiar with the high standards of NGO financial management. Ababacar is passionate about numbers, which for him always tell a story, and about a job well done. He is also an avid fan of martial arts and cinema. He holds a Master’s degree in corporate and market finance and is also certified in IT maintenance (IT Essentials CISCO).
