Janice Williams

Senior Manager

Janice Williams is an international development professional with more than a decade of experience in capacity building, education, and program management in West and Central Africa. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s in Government and International Affairs and a Masters in Technology, Innovation and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She served in the U.S. Peace Corps from 2010-2012 in Niger and Guinea. She was the Program Director for the Innovation Lab program in Sierra Leone, with Global Minimum’s Innovate Salone, during the Ebola epidemic. She has extensive experience working with and building relationships with various stakeholders in West and Central Africa, including government officials, NGOs, and Civil Society Organizations. She worked as a Technical Adviser for the President’s Recovery Priorities; the post-Ebola recovery plan for Sierra Leone. The past five years she worked for UNICEF in Sierra Leone from 2020-2022 & 2023-2026 in the West and Central Africa Regional office leading digital education projects across the region.
